The EU project GEUVADIS publicly releases the largest transcriptome reference dataset for 1000 genome project samples
Joint announcement CRG-UNIGE
The GEUVADIS project is announcing today the public release of their transcriptome data generated as part of their study to integrate 1000 genomes sequences with extensive transcriptome information.
The data includes large scale population level decentralized mRNA and small RNA sequencing of 465 samples from the 1000 genomes project (1KGP).
All raw data is now available to download from the project website (www.geuvadis.org). The data is being released pre-publication with the aim to allow the community to make use of it without delay.
Tuuli Lappalainen and Emmanouil Dermitzakis, from the University of Geneva, coordinated the study.
