Sonia Alcázar awarded with the Ignasi Fina Prize on health at work.
Sonia Alcázar, head of the prevention and working risks area at the CRG, together with the working risks heads of the other PRBB institutes, obtained the Ignasi Fina Prize on Health at Work.
The Ignasi Fina Prize acknowledges successful actions and initiatives in prevention and safety at work aiming to promote improvements on safety and health at work. The Advisory Council on Health at Work at the Barcelona City Council awarded the PRBB Intercentre Prevention Group. The jury highlighted the technical complexity and the plurality of its work. They also emphasized the success and the quality of their actions (Basic Safety Instructions, Preventive Information Manual and the Conference about Health and Safety in Biomedical Research Centres).
The Intercentre Prevention Group consists of all working risks heads at the IMIM and CREAL Foundation, the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), the Corporació Sanitària – CRC, the Centre of Regenerative Medicine in Barcelona (CMRB) and the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG). They received the Ignasi Fina Prize on 28th April, the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, in a commemorative event held at the Barcelona City Council.
