Science with an artistic vision in an exhibition at Espai Santa Caterina in Girona
“Tree of Life. The complexity of life: from the cell to a living organism” is an itinerant scientific picture exhibition which shows images produced by scientists at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG). It will be shown from 13 October to 14 November at the Espai Santa Caterina in the Catalan Government building in Girona.
The aim of the exhibition, which was shown at Palau Robert in Barcelona on September and October 2014, is to raise awareness not only of the research conducted at the Centre, but also of the beauty and singularity of those images, as well as the parallelisms and synergies formed between art and science. It has been produced by the Banc Sabadell Foundation and curated by the CRG.
This initiative has been possible thanks to the research carried out by CRG investigators, but also to the support of the Banc Sabadell Foundation and funding from the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, in the framework of the Severo Ochoa Centre of Excellence programme 2013-2017 (SEV-2012-0208).
