NEW PUSH FOR THE CRG TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER
The Ministry of Science and Innovation, through the Directorate-General for Technology Transfer and Business Development and the 2010 Innovation Plan, has awarded the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) a grant from the INNCIDE programme for its Strategic Technology Transfer Plan.
The INNCIDE programme is meant to encourage the transfer of knowledge and looks to consolidate the technology transfer offices of the research centres. The Strategic Plan of the CRG is one of the 25 projects which have received a grant of 250,000 €. This money will contribute to the consolidation and improvement of the centre’s strategic technology transfer plan and will fund programmes for the protection, appraisal and commercial exploitation of knowledge and research results. In turn, the grant will also be used to encourage collaboration between research groups and companies.
