Raúl Méndez, group leader of the Translational Control of Gene Expression Group at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG), has been awarded the "Carmen y Severo Ochoa 2010" Prize on research on molecular biology.
 
The jury, composed of representatives of the Fundación Carmen y Severo Ochoa and of first-class scientists, awarded the CRG researcher for the relevance of his works on the mechanisms of spatial and temporal control of gene expression networks.
