The CRG leads the European funding among the Catalan research centers 
 
Out of the eight Catalan research centers (CERCA), the CRG has received the most funding from the European 7th Framework Program. With more than 10 million Euros, the CRG has also reached the fourth position among the 20 institutions that raised more revenue in 2009. 
 
The report on the Catalan participation in the European 7th Framework Program has been developed by the department of European projects of the Goverment of Catalonia, based on data provided by the CDTI. 
 
Currently, the CRG has obtained new funding which does not appear in the report: the post-doctoral program Interpod, the coordinated project SysteMTb focused on tuberculosis research and the European project Geuvadis aimed at stablishing good practice in sequencing studies.
