SCIENTIFIC COFFEE: Science & Sci-Fi: Where is the limit? 

Is it the same to create a sci-fi history and a scientific project? Does reality overcome fiction? Would it be possible to travel by teletransport? Will a pill be the solution for all?

Some research projects look like science fiction histories and science fiction tales could became real. But, who is the first? With the help of our invited speakers we will chat about the creative mechanisms used by sci-fi authors or scientists. We will also talk about the role of science fiction as a tool for science dissemination and we will analize if both sciences are evolving together or not.

Invited speakers:

• Luis Serrano. Programa Biologia de Sistemes i Sots-director del Centre de Regulació Genòmica (CRG).
