EDAC

The main purpose of this project is to establish a data analysis center for the ENCODE project, which will be instrumental to perform quality control and integrative analysis of the ENCODE data as well as to build an ENCODE Encyclopedia.  

For this, Roderic Guigó’s group will work towards the harmonization of RNA-Seq pipelines across projects, the development of quality control metrics for RNA-based assays as well as towards implementation of integrative analysis pipelines of both transcriptomics and epigenetic data. Altogether will ultimately contribute to uncover the complexity of the epigenetic regulatory layer underlying RNA transcription and processing.
