Representatives from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation visit the CRG
 
The Secretary of State for Research, Felipe Pétriz, and the General Director of International Cooperation & Institutional Relations, Montserrat Torné, visited the Centre for Genomic Regulation last May 3, 2010.
 
During the meeting, they visited the EMBL/CRG Research Unit in Systems Biology, funded by the Spanish Ministry Science and Innovation. This unit combines EMBL’s expertise in computational biology with the CRG’s know-how in specific areas such as genomics and proteomics, in order to understand key aspects of human health.
 
Both ministry representatives also showed special interest in visiting the Advanced Light Microscopy Unit, one of the most technologically advanced in Spain and Europe.
