Mara Dierssen, president of the Spanish Society for Neurosciences (SENC)
 
Mara Dierssen, group leader from Cellular and Systems Biology, has been appointed as President of the Spanish Society for Neurosciences (SENC) for the period 2013-2015.
 
Although she was elected president two years ago her term of office has just begun in October this year. The SENC’s  assembly appointed the new council board members during their 15th national meeting held on the 27th of September in Oviedo,.
