Objectives:
We will dive into Microsoft Teams as a central hub for communication and collaboration. Together, we’ll learn how to manage and participate in Teams more effectively, while also exploring how to integrate and use additional applications within the platform. Let’s unlock the full potential of Teams to enhance our teamwork and productivity!
Topics that are going to be addressed:
1. Introduction to Teams (20 min)
- Overview of Teams interface and features.
- Teams and Channels.
2. Using Teams as a Hub (30 min)
- Creating and managing Teams and Channels.
- Posting messages, files, and collaborating within Teams.
- Setting up tabs for easy access to frequently used documents/apps.
3. Integration with Other Applications (30 min)
- Using OneNote within Teams.
- Integrating Planner, SharePoint, and other apps.
- Connecting third-party apps.
4. AI Features in Teams (20 min)
- Overview of AI capabilities in Teams.
- Tracking meetings with AI—using transcription and meeting insights.
- Utilising chatbots for efficiency.
5. Practical Scenarios and Use Cases (20 min)
- Real-world examples of how Teams can streamline work.
- Case studies or scenarios for practice.
Instructional Strategy:
- Interactive Sessions: Participants will follow along and practice using Teams live.
- Scenario-Based Learning: Simulate real-world usage of Teams.
- Q&A and Troubleshooting: Addressing common issues and participant queries.
